Jesus is introduced here as the Creator, sustainer and superior Son of God. No one comes close - not even the angels for He is over ALL His creation.

Corruption and infidelity are definitely not acceptable to God. And if God says you're guilty, you are even if you don't think so.

They denied His love, despised His Word and defiled His sacrifices. And they still are His chosen people. What grace!
